Hi, I have a problem with my front brakes. The brake arms are too short and that leeds to the brake pads eating in to my new schwalbe tyre. Every bit of advice needed.

Yes it's the standard front wheel

Is it the original front brake
And are the brake blocks fully down

I don't know if its the original brake a assembly. But the blocks are fully down

All I can think of is you look on eBay for a front brake assembly I think the older style push bike
Use the same brakes just check the arm length before you bye

A 26 inch wheel old style bike

I was just measuring the distance from the top bolt to the bolt on the brake block and that was 4 inches and the bottom 1 inch was the adjustable part for the brake block. Could you please compare this to your own one. I wonder if one off a new bicycle would fit it either?
