Found a few bad connections now all seems to be ok Also fitted one of my Warning Hazard light fittings ..as you can see








Fitted a Pod and it seems to be ok but it will need a proper test later on

Thanks this one has got a very good body (very little damage ) and I have seen loads of body's in the past and this one is in great condition

Chas is this going to be 24 v or higher?

Not sure yet ..as I have an 8 speed Shimano Nexus hub and I may use it on The next 24volt one ...but before I do use it Karl has sauced me some fittings that I will need to test it out before fitting it ...But I don't think it will be this one ...

A little more done on the chassis

Motor fitted then body placed over the chassis and fitted ...

Getting there now .as you can see it's looking good just fitted an indicator buzzer just in case the indicators are used but forgotten to switch them of so from now there is no excuse ...LED bulbs fitted front and rear

Just made up a back brake light switch up and running ......










I will take a photo when it gets darker should be better

Here are two photos taken at 2100 as you can see the back brake light light is much better .one without the rear light and the next one is with the light on

Mirrors fitted photos to follow .not be long now just got to sort out the wheel covers and the boot ....will be for sale very soon as soon as I can take it out for some test runs .....

Just been out on the C5 and it goes great now for sale ...(need to sell it as I have just started my next project )

It will be a 8speed hub at the moment just testing it out and it seems to be ok ....

Hi Chas, I'm a fan of your work! I was curious if you know of anyone has fitted a 3 speed hub with coaster brake? I have seen them on trikes here in the U.S.

Hi I have fitted a 3 speed / Dynamo to one C5 also 3 other 3 speed hubs in the past
Also one 7 speed and I have started my next one that is an 8 speed hub
Regarding the coaster brake they will not work on a C5 as the hub is not on the back axle ..

My next restoration will be the 8 speed hub that I tested and posted a few weeks ago it was delayed due to restoring a C5 for Chris well that's now finished and collected bye him and his son ...
So here we go here is the body that. I will be using as you can see it needs a lot of cleaning and hard work to get it how I like them ...
This one will have the 8 speed hub and the front and back wheel disc brake fitted ..plus indicators wing mirrors horn it goes on and on .
I will be posting photos of the build up as I go on
