Hi Chas, that looks like just what I need, pls let me know when they are available and how much as I'm definitely in the market for one of those. Kind of Pep to help out with the kit and you to make it up, have to say got the idea for my 3 speed C5 from your earlier conversions, and Pep's restoration looks amazing as do all the projects I've seen that you've done. Proper job!!

Hi there Dan thanks ok ...What I will do is to send you a back wheel that has the disc bolted to it .also the alloy plate + caliper and nuts and bolts bearing cups bearings + tapped nut + the brake bracket that you made .What I would like you to do is put an inner tube + tyre on .I will post some photos asap ..

When it has been tested the kit will contain the wheel with disc bolted on the alloy insert + the plate + the caliper + the brake bracket and nuts/bolts to fit it + the 2 bearings and cups .You will also have to fit the brake cable .

The buyer will have to send me there wheel + the bearing cups

Fitting time about 30 mins

Hi Chas,

Looks very nice, cant wait to test it  The photos are great, I should be able to follow them okay, so I'll return the original wheel/cups/bearings/brake.  I'll remove them all tomorrow.

This will work great on the 24v touchscreen, though will put it on the 12v for now. Just hope the weather is good soon

Hi Chas,

Got your brake kit today its excellent  I've managed to fit it following the pictures above:

I've never used/installed a disc brake before so you'll have to bear with me

Is there something I need to adjust as the disc/brake rubs when I turn the wheel (brake cable not attached)?
